Council Minutes

Llanfihangel Community Council
A meeting was held on the 19th of March 2025 at 7.00.
Present were Generys Roberts, Medwyn Roberts, Gethin Jones, Eryl Evans, Arwyn Ellis, Helen Jones(chairperson) and Cll Gwennol Ellis. Apologies from Llyr Jones.
Mr Marc Roberts was present to discuss the child’s play area at the Gro, Marc it to help with grant funding etc. It was noted that it would be of benefit if the Sports and Pensioneers committee will be involved in this project the clerk to contact the secretary.
The last minutes were signed as correct.
No declaration of interest to the Agenda.
Correspondence.
1. One voice wales – annual subscription £40.00 was paid.
2. Conwy B Council – not Council tax on the toilets.
3. Theatre Bara Caws =- asking for a donation - to leave until next meeting in May.
4. Skip – skip to be hired for May.
5. HSBC in the bank £2768.75
6. Cadwyn Clwyd - 10% grant money outstanding from previous fund.
7. VAT – vat re-payment received - £1,085.20
8. A note from Cll Gwennol Ellis stating that 4 out of the 5 dwellings in Uwchaled belonging to Cartrefi Conwy have potential tenants. Also noted that Conwy Council granted funds to repare the Crown bridge.
9. Conwy/Denbighshire - it was noted the potholes are bad on the road between Pant Mel and Cefn Ceirch clerk to take note.
10. Clerks wages – the wages were discussed and agreed on the terms set by NALC to be on scale 18 which is £15.84 per hour (3 hours a week). The clerks wages were paid for the year up to the end of March 2025 - £2,471.04.
